History

A history of more than 30 years

In 1993, Aernnova won the contract to design and manufacture the complete wing (including systems) of the Embraer ERJ 145, which represented a quantum leap for the company to enter the market as a product and process engineering, and aerostructures manufacturer with the ability to assume a risk partner role.

  • 1986

    First contract in the aircraft industry: CN235

    Creation of the company Fibertecnic to manufacture and sell composite components to CASA (now part of Airbus Group)

    Start of composite component manufacturing for the MD-11 and the A310

  • 1991

    Aernnova signs the contract for the manufacturing of the main landing gear doors of the A320

  • 1993

    Creation of Gamesa Aeronautica and signing the shared-risk contract to design and manufacture the wings of the ERJ 145 with Embraer
