Aernnova Évora

Embraer and Aernnova has concluded its strategic partnership agreement in Évora together with the acquisition of both companies

May 03, 2022 –Embraer and Aernnova concluded today the strategic partnership agreement and the acquisition of the two companies located in Evora, announced in early 2022.Therefore, Aernnova now owns all shares of Embraer Metálicas and EmbraerCompósitos, now ANN Évora Estruturas Metálicas, S.A. and ANN Évora Estruturas em Compósitos, S.A.

At the same time of the agreement conclusion, a signing ceremony has taken place at Évora facilities, attended by Francisco Gomes Nato and Iñaki López Gandasegui,presidents of Embraer and Aernnova respectively, Ricardo Chocarro CEO of Aernnova and a representation of the management teams of both companies.

With 500 employees, the Évora sites manufacture, among others, components for wings and vertical and horizontal stabilizers for Embraer's aircraft programs such as the Praetor 500 and Praetor 600 executive jets, the two generations of the E-Jets family of commercial jets and the multi-mission aircraft KC-390 Millennium.  

This agreement is in line with the growth strategy approved by Aernnova in its Strategic Plan reinforcing our position as a tier 1 supplier for single-aisle aircraft, while substantially improving our  improves its presence in the executive and defense aerospace markets. Évora facilities activity will add around US$170 million to Aernnova’s revenues figure. The fact that these companies are Aernnova's largest production centers will allow the signing of new contracts with both Embraer and other manufacturers. Likewise,we expect that this acquisition, together with the signing of the strategic agreement with Embraer, may bring new opportunities for the rest of the Group's companies.
