The visit brought together the entire management team and key people from across the different departments, creating a valuable opportunity to share perspectives and demonstrate the capabilities behind Aerometallic Tarazona.

The day began with a presentation of the team, followed by an overview of AerometallicTarazona, including its facilities, customers, programs, main achievements and path forward.

The figures tell an impressive story. Today, Aerometallic Tarazona has around 260 employees and is expected to reach €36 million in revenue in 2026, 80% growth in 3 years.Working directly with major external customers including Pilatus, Honda, Airbus and Dassault. The business has also achieved a margin demonstrating the strength and competitiveness of the operation.

From machining to surface treatment: seeing the full operation

During the visit, André toured both facilities with more than 18,000 m² of built space and had the opportunity to meet people across the different areas of the business.

In the Milling facility, the visit included the technical office and CMM area, as well as a close look at the machining operations and the equipment used by the team.

In Surface Treatment, the visit covered the complete process, from incoming operations and NDT through tanks, shot blasting and painting, to identification and packaging.

The next step: continuing to improve

Alongside the achievements, the visit also provided an opportunity to openly discuss the challenges ahead.

One of the main priorities is reducing lead times across both areas, strengthening our ability to respond quickly and efficiently to customer requirements.

Other important topics include negotiating payment terms with customers and working together with them to minimize the risks associated with increasing inventory levels.

These challenges reinforce the importance of close collaboration with our customers and of maintaining a disciplined approach to planning and inventory management.

A team combining experience and fresh perspectives

One of the strongest messages from the visit was the quality and diversity of the Aerometallic Tarazona team.

The management committee is highly motivated and competent, with an almost perfectly balanced 50/50 representation of women and men. Half of its members have more than 20 years of experience at Aernnova, while the other half joined the company during the last seven years after building their careers indifferent industries.

This combination of deep Aernnova knowledge and external experience creates a diversity of perspectives that makes discussions richer and helps the team approach challenges from different angles.

When lunch becomes a lesson in inventory management😊

The day also included a more informal moment over lunch, with a selection of "pintxos" ordered for eight people. There was just one small problem: the amount of food provided would have been enough for almost twenty!

André quickly turned the situation into a humorous analogy for one of the topics discussed during the visit: inventory management. Having more stock than you need may seem comfortable, but it also comes with a cost.

The visit concluded with feedback from André, recognizing the strengths of the team and the progress achieved, while encouraging everyone to continue working with the same ambition. With a growing business, strong financial performance,world-class customers and, above all, a highly motivated team.
